A stokvel is a group of people who pool their resources to achieve financial goals and support one another. Here's how we do it:
1. Members contribute: Each member contributes a fixed amount of money monthly.
2. Funds are collected: The contributions are collected and managed through the bank by the club's leadership.
3. Benefits and support: Members enjoy various benefits, including:
- Groceries: Receive an allocation of groceries every 3 months!
- Medical support: Access medical support and assistance when needed!
- Funeral services cover: Enjoy peace of mind with funeral services cover for you and your loved ones!
Terms and Conditions of Black Royalty Stokvel Club
1. Definitions
- "Member" refers to an individual who has joined the Black Royalty Stokvel Club.
- "Club" refers to the Black Royalty Stokvel Club.
- "Committee" refers to the governing body of the Club.
- "Contribution" refers to the monthly financial contribution made by Members.2. Membership
- Membership is open to individuals who are 18 years or older.
- Members must provide accurate and complete information when applying for membership.
- The Committee reserves the right to accept or reject any membership application.3. Contributions
- Members are required to make monthly contributions to the Club.
- The contribution amount will be determined by the Committee and communicated to Members.
- Contributions are due on or before the specified date each month.
- Late payments may incur penalties or interest.4. Purpose of Contributions
- Contributions will be pooled together to achieve the Club's financial goals.
- The Club's financial goals will be determined by the Committee and communicated to Members.5. Withdrawals
- Members may withdraw their share of the pooled contributions after a specified period, as determined by the Committee.
- Withdrawals may be subject to certain conditions or penalties.6. Governance
- The Club will be governed by a Committee, which will be responsible for making decisions and overseeing the Club's activities.
- The Committee will consist of elected Members.7. Meetings
- The Club will hold regular meetings, as determined by the Committee.
- Members are encouraged to attend meetings and participate in discussions.8. Confidentiality
- Members must maintain confidentiality regarding the Club's activities and financial information.9. Dispute Resolution
- Any disputes or disagreements will be resolved through mediation or arbitration, as determined by the Committee.10. Termination
- Membership may be terminated by the Committee due to non-payment of contributions, breach of these terms and conditions, or other reasonable grounds.
- Upon termination, the Member will forfeit their share of the pooled contributions.11. Amendments
- These terms and conditions may be amended by the Committee at any time.
- Amendments will be communicated to Members and will take effect immediately.12. Acceptance
- By joining the Club, Members acknowledge that they have read, understood, and accepted these terms and conditions.
